Hi everyone
As you are no doubt aware it is an exciting time for racing coming up in South Australia with the Autumn Racing Carnival about to start gaining momentum over the next five weeks heading into our 3 Group 1 days of racing in May.
For Andrew and I as trainers and for some of you as owners it will be a time to dare to dream that we too can play a part in some of the big races over the next two months with runners within our stable.
This upcoming Saturday at Morphettville Extra Time and Another Award will fly the flag for our team in the two feature races at headquarters.
Extra Time will contest the Listed Manihi Stakes whilst Another Award will line up in the inaugural running of the Listed Clare Lindop Stakes which would be an amazing, emotional result for the stable if she happened to win.
Other horses nominated for this Saturday at Morphettville are Ichibansan, Glory Game, Vancouver Velvet and Jonquest.
Glory Game also holds an acceptance for Strathalbyn on Wednesday along with African Awesome where they are engaged in Races 4 and 7 respectively.
At the moment no one can dispute the stable pin up horse is Dalasan and weather permitting we will get to see him have another crack at a Group 1 race in the George Ryder Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday.
Obviously it has been a challenging time for us all the past 12 months with the Covid pandemic but it has certainly been nice to see the gradual return to race day crowds.
Your support has been greatly appreciated by Andrew and I and hopefully we will see some happy winning owners at the track through the Adelaide Carnival.
